PUNE
Pune is the ‘City of Education’, it is also known as the
‘Mother Home of Education’. It is located at the distance of about 300 kms from
Aurangabad district in Maharashtra. This is one of the famous City in
Maharashtra. This city is at 2nd position in the list of fastest
developing cities in Maharashtra. This City also contributes in cultural,
historical, and social events and monuments in Maharashtra. This is 2nd
largest district in Maharashtra after Mumbai.
This City is one the mode of attraction to the peoples from

SHANIWAR WADA:- Shaniwar Wada is one of the oldest and famous
Historical monument in Pune district in Maharashtra. It was built by Bajirao I
in the year 1730 AD. This monument was built as a dwelling of Peshwas. It is
one of mode of attraction in Maharashtra, which attracts people from other
states and countries in the world.
AGA KHAN PALACE:- Aga Khan Palace has its own great
historical significance in the history India. It is well known for its
Architectural Work. This Palace had a vast land of about 19 to 20 acres and
surrounded all by green trees which makes a great attraction of peoples towards
this palace. Now this palace is the Headquarter of the Gandhi National memorial
society.
DAGDUSHETH HALWAI GANPATI TEMPLE:- Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati
Temple is second most largest and famous Ganpati temple in Pune district of
Maharashtra. It is located on the Karve road of Pune district. This is one of
the famous temple in Maharashtra of lord Ganesha. It is one of the famous
religious place in Maharashtra which attracts peoples to visit Maharashtra.
LAL MAHAL:- This is one the famous landmark in Pune district
of Maharashtra. It was built in the 16th century. It was first
restored place by Shahaji Bhosle(The Father of Shivaji Maharaja) for his family
to stay in the 1630s. This is one of the famous Historical monument in Maharashtra.
It is located near to Shaniwar Wada in Pune.
SHIVNERI FORT:- This place is known as the birth place of Chattrapati
Shvaji. This fort is located at Junnar in Pune district in Maharashtra. This is
one of the most famous and important fort in the period of Maratha Rule. This
Fort attracts a huge number of tourist peoples as it has a rich history and a
direct connection with Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
SINHAGAD:- This place is situated at a distance of about 20
to 25 kms from Pune district in Maharashtra. The name Sinhagad has its own
meaning, ”THE FORT OF LION”. Most of the old peoples says that this place is
about 2000 years old place but the history of this fort, till now, is not
cleared. This fort had witnessed a battle in the year 1671. From the top of the
fort you can see the Beautiful view of Sahydri , which attracts peoples to visit
this place. This place is located at Thoptewadi in Pune district of Maharashtra.
