1. THE GATEWAY OF INDIA, MUMBAI:-
The Gateway of India is a monument, located on the
waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai. The Gateway of India is a

vendors and the the photographers.
2. BIBI-KA-MAQBARA, AURANGABAD:-
The Bibi ka Maqbara is also called the Dakkhani Taj in the
principal monument of Aurangabad and its historic city. The beautiful mausoleum
bears a striking resemblance to the famous Taj Mahal and one of the 7 wonders
of Maharashtra.
3. NEW PALACE (SHAHU PALACE), KOLHAPUR:-
Shree Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj’s palace is also known as the
new palace of Kolhapur is an excellent specimen of architecture built in black
polished stone. The masterpiece of Kolhapur has been an attraction for tourists
with a garden, fountain and wrestling ground.
4. DIKSHABHOOMI, NAGPUR:-
Dikshabhoomi is a sacred monument of Buddhism, situated in
Nagpur and regarded as a pilgrimage center of Buddhism in India. Dr.Ambedkar
converted to Buddhism here and one of the two places of great importance in the
life of Dr.Ambedkar.
5. RAJABAI CLOCK TOWER, MUMBAI:-
Rajabai Clock Tower is a clock tower in South Mumbai, a
beautiful clock tower erected during the reign of the British Empire in India.
The landmark heritage structures tower has one of the best stained glass
windows in the city and one of the top 12 famous clock tower in India.
6. 52 GATES, AURANGABAD:-
Aurangabad is known as the City of Gates, Out of the 52 only
four main and nine subordinate gates have survived. The most famous, oldest and
biggest gate of Aurangabad is the Bhadkal Gate near the Naukhanda Palace, others are Delhi Gate,
Kaala Darwaza, Rangeen Darwaza and Makai gate.
7. AJANTA AND ELLORA CAVES, AURANGABAD:-
Ajanta and Ellora caves are considered to be one of the most
significant historical places in Maharashtra owing to the magnificent paintings
of Ajanta and well-carved sculptures of Ellora. The rock-cut caves containing

8. SHANIWAR WADA, PUNE:-
The former love-nest of Bajirao and Kashi, the Shaniwar Wada
in Pune is now one of the most popular tourist destination in Maharashtra. This
grand mansion was built by the Peshwa Bajirao I himself as the residence of the
Peshwa. Covering a vast area of about 625 acres, the paace is the ideal place
to catch a glimpse of Maharashtra’s rich history.
Located 15 kms away from the main city of Aurangabad,
Daulatabad Fort is an ancient fortification that rises formidably from the
midst of verdant greenery. Often hailed as one of the Seven Wonders of of Maharashtra, this architectural marvel
is believed to have been built in the 12th century.
