WORLD FAMOUS TEMPLES IN MAHARASHTRA !


MAHARASHTRA IS THE BIRTH PLACE OF SAINT, LEADERS, GENTLEMENS, FREEDOM FIGHTER AND ALSO OF COMMON MENS, BUT MAHARASHTRA IS ALSO KNOWN FOR ITS CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS, ETHICAL, SOCIAL AND HISTORICAL MONUMENTS AND EVENTS. SO WE ARE HERE WITH SOME MOST FAMOUS HOLY PLACES IN MAHARASHTRA WHICH ARE FAMOUS IN ALL OVER THE WORLD.

MAHALAXMI TEMPLE, MUMABI:- Mahalaxmi temple is one the famous Laxmi  temple in India and now-a-days peoples from other countries also come here to visit this temple. This temple is situated on the Bhulabahi Desai Road, Mumbai. This temple was built in 1831 by Dhakji Dadaji, a Hindu Merchant.  This Temple is one of the attraction for the peoples in India and Other states to visit Maharashtra.

TULJA BHAVANI TEMPLE, TULJAPUR:- This Temple is situated in Tuljapur in Osmanabad district in Maharashtra. It is located at a distance of 40 to 50 kms from solapur. This temple is Hindu Temple dedicated to the goddess “Durga”.  This temple is considered as one of the 51 Shakti Pithas in Maharashtra. This temple was built during period of 12th century.

This temple is main centre of worship for Vitthala( a form of Vishnu). This temple is one of the most visited temple in Maharashtra. This temple is situated on the banks of Chrandra-bhaga river. Many of the peoples(Warkaris)  from Maharashtra join Dindi, a march from the people’s home to this temple, at the starting of the Rainy season.

GHRISHNESHWAR TEMPLE, AURANGABAD:- It is situated in Ellora in Aurangabad district in Maharashtra and is a point of attraction for tourist coming from the world. This is one of the devoted temple by the people of Hindu religion. Most of the peoples say that this temple is built with only one big rock which is cutted from top to bottom to make this Beautiful place. This Temple has an unique significance in history as this temple has created from the Top to Base. The people comes to visit this temple are mostly from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and other neighbour states. This is one of the "12 Gotirlinga".

HAJI ALI DARGAH, MUMBAI:- The Haji Ali Dargah is situated on the coast of Worli in the Southern part of Mumbai. It is the Dargah or Monument of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. It is one of the most visited place by Islam religion peoples in the world. The Dargah is one of the most famous landmark of the Mumbai City.
